Maura Troester Nunez, Ph.D.

Maura is an award-winning researcher, with a Ph.D. in Marketing and Consumer Insight from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has pioneered innovative hybrid quantitative/qualitative methodologies for companies such as iModerate and Protobrand and delivers strategically relevant, human-centered insights for a wide variety of national and international brands including Marriott, Cadillac, Starbucks, Wrigley, Lee Jeans, Wrangler, and Ocean Spray.

A former advertising professor at the University of Colorado, Maura helped build the program’s strategy track into one of the top five programs in the U.S. She has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research and has presented at numerous conferences nationally and globally.

Andrea Scott, Ph.D.

Andrea is passionate about using marketing to further the public good. She’s an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University.

A former Fulbright Scholar, Andrea is an expert in public service marketing, brand relationships, and advertising. She has published in leading national and global journals and sits on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Before becoming a professor, Andrea worked for BBDO and DDB, and has developed brand communication strategies for national clients such as General Mills and Wrigley.
